At Vandeputte, our traditional process initiated in 1987, which respects the natural qualities of the linseed, is still used in our ultramodern installations with a capacity of more than 100,000 tonnes per year. Our aim has been to industrialise and constantly improve our equipment while preserving the purity of the “gesture”.

A 1st cold pressing allows us to obtain a very pure oil of very high quality.
A 2nd hot pressing allows the recovery of the crude oil and produces a expeller in platelets, highly appreciated for cattle feed.
Refining
In order to purify our pressed oils, they are treated in our refining unit, guaranteeing a very low colour and a controlled acid index with a view to the manufacture of resins, varnishes, standolics or other coating binders.
